Options & Restrictions:
Many local thrift stores, nonprofits, collection boxes, and home pickup services want all your clothes, shoes, and linens for reuse or recycling – even damaged items – in any condition except wet, mildewed or contaminated with hazardous materials.
Clothing, shoes, linens, curtains, pillows, stuffed animals, and throw rugs (no carpet) in the above condition are accepted for recycling at all King County transfer stations except Algona and Skykomish drop box (where they are accepted for disposal).
