Statement:

Health, wellness and a balanced lifestyle are the reasons so many of us have chosen to live in this area. As your Hospital Board Commissioner I will apply my healthcare and technology expertise to ensure these values continue to be priority number one. Additional value I offer is volunteering with youth at a local Lithuanian-American youth camp and medical student exchange programs. My vision for our new hospital includes telemedicine, privacy & security, and, medical interoperability as the natural next steps. We have challenges before us: Mental illness, drug addiction, child obesity and teenage depression – sadly – all approaching crisis levels. I believe a roadmap to engage everyone in our community will create Hospital District #4 as the best place to live, raise a family, and, to retire. From the Valley to the Ridge to the Pass, please allow me to serve you as your Hospital Board Commissioner.

Statement:

Only through diligent stewardship will the new hospital reach its potential.  It is my belief that the duties of each Commissioner are to; ensure financial viability of operations, be accountable for the responsible use of funds that have financed the hospital and oversee the delivery of quality services.  Finally, the Commissioners should be a strong advocate for the hospital.

In over two decades with Fortune 100 corporations and small companies I have experienced the outcomes of visionary leadership.  It is imperative at this critical juncture that the hospital benefit from solid business sense and experience.  Only through asking uncomfortable questions and making bold decisions for the long-term good will we thrive.  Governance requires that the Commission not be a rubber stamp.  It requires questioning the status quo, thoughtful analysis and committed follow-through.

I ask for your support to serve for the benefit of the community today and generations going forward.
