Statement:

The City of Carnation deserves a Council whose objective is doing what is best for the City in a cost effective and efficient manner.  My focus will be on getting the City to have clearly stated goals & objectives and a strategy to get us there.  I will work with the citizens to ensure the decisions that are made to spend your money align with the Cities long term strategy and help us achieve our goals & objectives.  We must do a better job in spending our money!

I am the father of four boys and am proud to call Carnation my home - I cannot imagine a better place to raise a family.  I have coached many local youth sports teams over the years and am currently the Scoutmaster for the local Boy Scout Troop.  I want to continue to serve this community by representing you as a Councilmember.

Dustin Green

Education: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering - University of Washington
Occupation: Mechanical Engineer - medical device industry

Statement:

Carnation adopted me 19 years ago. I’ve strived to give back by volunteering with the Eastman-Rush Foundation, Carnation Matters, Carnation Elementary, the Sustainable Carnation Committee and the Riverview Education Foundation.

Carnation is a great place to play, work and raise a family. Making wise choices and utilizing our resources efficiently will be critical as we welcome new neighbors to town in the months and years to come. As your representative on the city council, I will make sure your concerns are heard and that city successes are communicated.

I’d love to talk with you about the past, present and future of our little town. Please feel free to contact me via phone, e-mail or social media. We could even talk in person if we bump into each other at the Carnation Farmers Market or around town. Looking forward to our conversations and your support.
