Education: B.S. in Business Administration and Marketing at Washington University
Occupation: Senior Director at a healthcare research organization

Statement:

My wife Eri and I love raising our two children here in Bothell. We specifically chose Bothell eight years ago because of the great Northshore schools, parks, and its safe neighborhoods.  I want to be your City Councilmember to protect what is important to our families.  First and foremost, I believe that our tax dollars are precious and should be focused on public safety.

As a father, I’m committed to strong and sustainable parks and recreation programs for the City of Bothell. I will support programs and services that enhance Bothell’s reputation as a great place to live and raise a family.

As the husband of an environmental consultant, I am sensitive to issues that impact the environment and support efforts to make Bothell a leader in ecofriendly stewardship.

As a professional in the Healthcare industry, I’m strongly committed to the health and welfare of my community.

Education: BA in Psychology, MA and PsyD in Clinical Psychology, Biola University
Occupation: Prison Psychologist

Statement:

As your next city council member I will work to rebuild public confidence that has been eroded by recent conflicts.  I will strive to build a renewed commitment to transparency, communication, and a fair hearing of all viewpoints.  I will seek to build consensus among the Council members, sharing my thoughts and opinions while valuing theirs.  I will apply my knowledge and experience to a thoughtful review of the city’s code of ethics. I support efforts to preserve open areas, especially those that prioritize private funding.  I will work to insure fiscal discipline in Bothell’s continued transformation into a model 21st-century city.

Bothell is a wonderful place to live.  Let’s work to keep it that way!

Endorsed by Northshore School Board member Dawn McCravey

Education: No information submitted
Occupation: Construction management (Residential, commercial, industrial); President, OneBothell.org

Statement:

While leading the effort to preserve Bothell’s Wayne Golf Course, it became clear that our city desperately needs new leadership on the City Council that is transparent and genuinely listens to you.  I pledge to you to be that kind of leader.

I would like to initiate informal meetings where you can hear from the Council, ask questions and share your ideas and concerns without the formality of a Council meeting.

We can preserve the quality of life and our unique neighborhoods that drew many of us here while embracing sensible economic development that pays for itself.  We must invest in our transportation systems (especially our deteriorating streets) that have been neglected for too long.

My wife, Colleen, and I grew up in Bothell and are raising our twin boys here.

With your vote we can work together to make Bothell a place we are proud to call home
