I was appointed to the Vashon Park District Board in 2018 and now seek election to continue serving as your representative. I have lived on Vashon for over 15 years and appreciate the essential programs and services that the District provides to support the enjoyment and well-being of all community members.

I have extensive background as a City manager and community volunteer providing cost-effective, innovative and responsive programs. My focus has been on: establishing clear and agreed priorities; maintaining transparent fiscal responsibility; providing customer value through awareness of needs and effective delivery; and supporting open and respectful communication.

I have been impressed with recent progress of the Park District to clarify and strengthen the core mission and vision; achieve a sustainable financial plan; and listen to constituents to improve and expand services. I plan to continue on that path in supporting a district that serves your needs.
