Thank you for getting to know me and why I want to serve on your Vashon Island School Board. Education has been central to my life, my mother was a school counselor and I grew up in local middle schools. I saw firsthand how schools could transform children their families through the relationships with educators.  These moments were the sparks that eventually lead to a career in education, advocacy, and public service.  I lead with listening and collaboration.

Vashon Island is our home and I value the opportunity to serve in the capacity of school board member. I am excited to put my expertise in education policy and advocating for children, youth and the adults who educate them to use to serve my community. I am confident my skills and passion will be an asset to the children, youth, and families of our community.
