Occupation: Fire Chief
Statement:

It is an exciting time for the Si View Parks District. Voters passed a $14.7 million bond to connect and protect parks, and the Commission is discussing an aquatics center. As a Commissioner, I will use my 30 years of municipal experience to affirm our dollars are being used effectively, improve connections between parks, increase the number of regional parks, and advocate for access for all community members -- regardless of mobility or disability.

As a North Bend parent and resident, I value our parks and trails. As a North Bend Parks Commissioner, I worked with the City to create an annual maintenance fund to address regular upkeep of City-owned parks. On the Si View HOA Parks Committee, I worked with the City to improve and maintain play structures in the City-owned neighborhood parks.

It would be an honor to represent you, and I respectfully ask for your vote.

Statement:

Dear Snoqualmie Valley Residents, This is an exciting time at the Si View Metropolitan Park District! Thirty acres of forest will soon have trails for all at Tennant Trailhead Park. An aquatic center is in the works, and the District's newest park, South Fork Landing, is 28 acres of grass and forest with so many possibilities.

For nearly 20 years I've lived in the Valley, working as an educator at the Cedar River Watershed and Rattlesnake Lake Recreation Area. Through tours, interpretive signage, and outreach, I help connect visitors to the natural and cultural history of these beautiful lands. My vision as a Commissioner is to provide enriching experiences for all, while spending public money wisely and always considering environmental stewardship.

I would be honored to give back to our community by helping to shape the future of our local parks, recreational opportunities, and open spaces. Thank you for voting!
