For the past 28 years, I have worked as a municipal water law and environmental attorney. I have sought to use that professional experience as a Northshore Utility District (NUD) Commissioner to advance policies and decisions that provide safe, reliable, and cost effective service to NUD customers.

Through effective cost controls, management practices, and efficient staffing levels, I am proud that NUD has been able to avoid rate increases within recent years, while also providing highly responsive customer service and assistance to our low income customers.

In the coming months, I look forward to supporting the Commission’s efforts to develop a seismic emergency response plan and upgrade the Districts information technology systems so we may better serve our customers, cities, and the development community. I am a proud, native Washingtonian married to my wife, Beth, a retired pediatric physical therapist. We have one son, Dylan, an aspiring baseball analytics expert.
