2019 general election
King County Water District 49
Commissioner Position 2
After 24 years as your elected Commissioner, I have worked hard and been able to keep your rates unchanged. Within the first 10 years we have replaced thousand of feet of new pipe to improve your current water system. With 45 years of experience in the Construction Industry and my knowledge of the contract and management process, I feel like I have done an outstanding job for YOU, the ratepayers. Our current board is working very well collectively to maintain a better than ever atmosphere. I have lived in Burien for the last 31 years and raised 2 children here. I was diagnosed with cancer 2 years and ago and happy to say I am in remission and excited for a bright future. I am again coming to you and asking for your vote to keep this administration and our future goals on track.
As a United States Marine Corps veteran, I believe strongly in ethical and dedicated public service. For over 30 years, I have demonstrated these values working in regional and local government positions. Currently, and for more than 10 years, I have worked as supervisor and capital improvement project manager for Southwest Suburban Sewer District.
Through elected representation, I serve on the King County Emergency Management Advisory Council and on the Emergency Preparedness Committee for Washington Association of Water and Sewer Districts.
My family have been local Burien homeowners and active community residents for over 20 years. As water district commissioner, if elected, I believe it is my agreed upon duty to help ensure our water system is clean, resilient and affordable to our community-now and in the future. I ask for your vote and promise to serve with integrity and responsiveness in my role as Water District #49 Commissioner.
