I would appreciate the opportunity to serve the rate payers of the Highline Water District.  I’ve been a long standing resident in the community and a Highline Water District rate payer for over 30 years.  I was previously employed by King County Water District 20 for nearly 40 years. I was initially hired to read water meters and then worked my way up through the ranks to field operations, Superintendent, and General Manager.  My objective is to continuously provide the rate payers with the highest quality drinking water and the lowest rates possible.  With my years of experience and knowledge I feel I would be an asset to the rate payers of Highline Water District.  Thank-you for your vote.

Plentiful, clean, and affordable water is our most basic human need. 

As a 28 year employee of Highline Water District, I actively participated in Emergency Preparedness, Water Conservation, Water Quality, and Community Education Opportunities. I assisted Commercial Developers with construction practices and requirements. I worked daily providing customers with information regarding their bills, water usage, and water quality.

Like you, I am also a District customer. My husband Pete and I have lived in the community for over 60 years and are small business owners within the District community. I bring you a well-rounded knowledge of the District’s needs as well as those of District customers.  I will add diversity to our current governing body and promise that decisions surrounding the needs of the Water District, and its consumers, are met with fiscal responsibility and compassion.
