Statement:

As a professional whose daily work is on the street level of King County, from Shoreline to Queen Anne, I see and know first-hand how preventative measures stop accidents, and how effective emergency responses saves lives.

I know how important an EMT response is when seconds matter, how improving dispatch saves time and saves lives. Most importantly, as a resident of  Shoreline where residential density is rapidly increasing, I know the importance of the security provided by having a prompt and effective fire district.

I am running for this office to ensure that Shoreline EMT and fire response continues to be effective and supportive of the volunteer and career firefighters who have dedicated their lives to protecting ours. I intend to provide my public service as a member of the board of fire commissioners for our district. I hope you will see fit to permit me this opportunity to serve.
