Commissioner Position 4
James Farrell, a 40 year resident of Mountain View Fire and Rescue, has served for 18 years as one of your elected officials. For 32 years he was a teacher and coach in the Auburn School District. In the past Jim has served as Lay Leader of the Auburn Methodist Chruch, Group Health Cooperative Trustee, and Wesley Homes Trustee. He was selected by his fellow Washington State Fire Commissioners to serve two terms as their President.
Jim as served for these years as your commissioner in hopes of providing the community with a highly trained and well-equipped Fire Department. The citizens of this district have a department in which we all can be proud. Our professional and volunteer fire-fighters are not only well trained, but dedicated to their profession. Jim will continue his efforts and decisions on actions that provide the best services to all the citizens of Mountain View Fire and Rescue.
