2019 general election
King County Fire Protection District 45
Commissioner Position 2
I thank the voters of the Duvall Fire department for allowing me to represent them as a Fire Commissioner for the last 12 years. I have been a resident of Duvall since 1987. I have 50 years in emergency services.
Since being elected as your commissioner me and my fellow commissioners have seen many great changes to the fire department, We returned bond issue moneys that weren't used to the tax payers, purchased a new rescue boat with reserve funds, bought a new wild land fire engine with funds from state mobilizations, which was bought at no cost to the taxpayers, When the need for fire service in the eastern part of the district became apparent Myself and my fellow board members developed a plan to build, equip and man a new fire station on Cherry Valley road. I ask for your vote so I can continue to serve

Duvall is one of the most rapidly evolving areas in Washington. With this growth comes a need for forward thinking and relevant knowledge to guide the future of our amazing Fire Department. As the only candidate currently qualified as an EMT/ Firefighter I will bring a unique understanding of the challenges our crews face each day. My experience in corporate real estate, city planning, and over 25 years serving as a Naval Officer will bring a fresh perspective and a discerning eye to the development and strategy of the future of our Fire District. I have dedicated my life to serving and protecting others. Duvall is my home...it is where I wished to return when I was serving overseas, and I am blessed to be able to raise my family here now. I ask for your support and consideration to serve you here in our community as your Fire Commissioner.
