As a lifelong resident of this community, it has been one of my greatest honors to serve the citizens of Burien and Normandy Park since 2004 as one of your elected Fire Commissioners.  In those 18 years, thanks to community support and our dedicated firefighters and staff, we have made significant improvements to the delivery of Fire and Emergency Medical Services to the residents of the district. By replacing our outdated and seismically unsound fire stations and by modernizing our fire engines and aid cars, we are now better able to provide timely, responsive care when you call upon us for help and have greatly improved our Community Protection rating from the Washington Surveying and Rating Bureau.

I am asking for your vote so that we can continue to deliver the world-class services that you have come to depend on in these challenging times.
