As a mom with a child in the district I understand how vital a positive school experience and excellent education are for our children. I am excited to build on what is great in our schools in order to ensure that all children can thrive in our community. 

I will use my experience in curriculum design and education to ensure that new curriculum and educational policies will enable all students to gain knowledge and skills that prepare them for success. As a community organizer I will work to create processes for community input and participation that ensure the needs of all families in Shoreline and Lake Forest Park are being heard and addressed.  

Having served on two non-profit boards I understand the importance of operating within a balanced budget which sometimes requires creative thinking and tough choices. I would be grateful for your vote. Endorsements: 32nd and 46th District Democrats.
