Thank you for the opportunity to serve you over the past four years. During my tenure, I have proudly partnered with my colleagues to invest in greater early learning opportunities and mental health counselors in all our secondary schools, establish dual-language elementary programs, create policy to ensure equitable supports are provided to eliminate barriers to student achievement, and implement a seven-period schedule at Issaquah and Skyline.
I enjoy advocating for our community with legislators to support policies that enhance school safety and K-12 funding that now provides a living wage for teachers and more opportunities for students. In doing so, we have decreased our local levy rate to ease the tax burden on homeowners.
I am a tireless advocate for public education and the health of our children—from my tenure as a sixth grade math and science teacher to my current work caring for sick and injured children.
I want to continue our work to ensure every student has the opportunity and support to reach their highest potential, no matter which school they attend within our district. I would be grateful for your vote. Endorsements: Mark Mullet, Lisa Callan, Lisa Wellman, My-Linh Thai, Christie Malchow, and many more.

With three kids in the Issaquah School District, I am excited to work as your next school board member on ensuring that every child gets the best educational experience possible.
I currently serve on the Issaquah School District Levy Development Committee working to ensure we have the funding necessary for our district to excel. As a School Boardmember, I’ll work to make our schools a welcoming place for every student. So much child development, academic, social, and emotional development happens in our schools, and the system must be equipped to provide these services in a truly rigorous and equitable manner.
I’ll work to develop a more comprehensive plan for equity. This includes training for leadership, administrators, teachers and our community with the goal of making our schools more culturally responsive. I will work to increase and fine tune our existing mental health services including early prevention efforts to address substance abuse and build stronger bridges with regional and state policy makers.
I’m endorsed by the King County Democrats, 41st Legislative Democrats, 5th Legislative Democrats, OneAmerica Votes, National Women’s Political Caucus, Sen. Patty Kuderer, Rep. Tana Senn, Rep. My-Linh Thai, Rep. Vandana Slatter and more…
