Living in Auburn for the past 18 years, working for Boeing and raising 5 children with my wife, I have seen the tremendous population growth in Auburn. We need to get out in front of that growth to make sure all of our students are in the best learning environment possible. 

Our oldest graduated from Auburn Mountainview and the others attend Auburn schools. Keeping all our children safe is a top priority for me. We are actively engaged in our community through sports and volunteering. As a coach, I believe that children need to find their path to success, whether traditional or not.  We need to provide teachers with tools and resources to guide and connect with their students. My experience living abroad and teaching Spanish makes me very aware of the important contribution of the different populations in our schools. I hope my service will benefit all Auburn students. 

I recently retired as an office support staff employee for the Auburn School District. After 30 years of service in education I would bring a unique perspective to the school board.

As educators it is our mission to lay the groundwork for students, so when they leave high school students are able to adapt well in our culturally diverse world and are prepared for the workforce, higher education, national service, or service to their community as they choose.

It would be my honor to continue working and advocating for all students and staff by working to build on current policies and regulations that encourages, increases and supports student achievement. Both my children attended and graduated from Auburn School District and I have two grandkids currently attending and thriving in auburn schools. I’m committed to student success and will work hard for all our students. I ask for your vote
