It is essential that every community develop an educational system where each child will thrive and be prepared for a productive, fulfilling adulthood. This takes vision, and means constant evaluation and restructuring. After serving and living in Tukwila for 13 years, I am knowledgeable of the diversity and needs that come with it. This, along with my background in education and nursing, combine the academic and practical sides of discerning how to develop the best curriculum, staff, and physical environment for our children.

As one of your TSD Board Directors, I will continue to advocate for each child’s needs, making sure that the underrepresented have a voice and are cared for with excellence. My goal is to represent the citizens in this district in responsible budgeting, facility management, and educational programming. I strive to make each of our schools the best it can be for the children in our care.
