Education: Bachelor's in Business Administration, Computer Information Systems and Software Engineering, Troy University
Occupation: Director and CIO, Technology and Innovation Services, City of Tukwila
Statement:

We are currently in a present and fast approaching a future where technology and automation will be integrated into every aspect of our lives. Because of this, we need to ensure all of our Renton students are exposed to and participate in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) educations, that align with the gaps that are being seen across the workforce. We can do this with new partnerships with industry and innovative ways of using district budgets. As Director of District 1, I will work tirelessly with other board members, through policy partnerships to ensure our students have the capabilities they need for now and the future.

I have a proven background working with education and technology nonprofits, and school districts in implementing innovative solutions. As a city Department Head and Chief Information Officer, I also have the policy and process skills to get things done in a board and administration setting. I'm ready to serve the Renton School District and need your vote so that we can work together to make sure our students are ready for now and the future.
