2019 general election
City of Woodinville
Council Position 6
I have served Woodinville as a Council member since 2016, and since 2007 as both a Planning and an Emergency Preparedness Commissioner. As your council member, I’ve represented concerns from the community including improvements for pedestrian safety, assured budget and schedule for roadway and traffic congestion improvement projects, supported improvements to tree canopy retention within new construction areas, and provided input to several landmark projects including DeYoung Park, Civic Campus restoration and current plans for the Woodinville Tourist District. I am committed to serving the people of our city, both long-time and new residents. There is a lot of exciting new development coming to Woodinville and with your vote of confidence, I am eager to continue my role guiding us into the future.

Our region is growing fast, making it important to Keep Woodinville’s charm while Moving Forward, ensuring that we manage our growth responsibly. Our council has missed many opportunities in doing this and I believe that we can do better.
As an engineer, my days are spent solving problems. I have learned that this is best accomplished by listening to a diverse array of opinions. I hope to bring my aptitude to listen and my scientific background to the council, as I have done for about 2 years on the Woodinville Planning Commission and before then on the NSD Start Time Task Force.
Since most of our problems (Transportation, Housing, Environment) are regional, I am proud to have a long list of local leaders in Bothell, Kirkland, Redmond, and Bellevue endorsing me. These connections will be vital in resolving the issues that face Woodinville. I hope to earn your vote.
