My family has called Tukwila home for over 30 years. I decided to run for City Council because all Tukwila families deserve good jobs, economic opportunity and safe neighborhoods.

Tukwila is a diverse, growing community with new development and businesses opening every day. I will bring my experience as Chair of Tukwila's Planning Commission to help manage Tukwila's growth and benefit all residents.

I will also work to provide meaningful economic opportunities to Tukwila residents. From increasing access to union apprenticeships to growing small businesses, I am committed to bringing more living wage jobs to Tukwila families. I'm excited to bring my community leadership and work experience to Tukwila's City Council. I would be honored to earn your vote. Tukwila is at a crossroads. New developments have improved our community, but we have to manage our growth responsibly. As a City Council member, I will focus on:

Public Safety: Tukwila residents should feel safe in their community. Our law enforcement, fire department, and the courts should be quick to address concerns and respond to needs. Housing: Maintaining community is important. We must keep Tukwila affordable so that our families and neighbors can live and thrive here. Livability: Residents should be proud to call Tukwila home. Tukwila should celebrate our beauty and diversity, and create a welcoming place for others to experience what makes Tukwila the best place to live!

Endorsements: Tukwila City Councilmembers Verna Seal, De’Sean Quinn, Tom McLeod, Zak Idan, and former Councilmember Joe Duffie; Sen. Bob Hasegawa and Rep. Steve Bergquist; King County Democrats, SEIU 1199, Laborers Local 242, OneAmerica Votes, National Women’s Political Caucus, and more!
