Statement:

Issaquah is at a critical crossroads, and the decisions that we make today will have a profound impact on our future and our quality of life.  We must address our worsening traffic problems and find a sensible approach to development.  I have lived in this community for more than 25 years, and I am committed to preserving the qualities that make Issaquah a great place to live. In my time on the City Council, I have advocated for the citizens of Issaquah and provided leadership in tackling the challenging problems we face today and will in the future.  I will continue working to preserve open space, maintain Issaquah as a safe and caring community, and promote smart, sustainable growth across the region.  I'd be honored to be your representative on the City Council so I can give back to this community that has given me so much.
