Statement:

Challenges and opportunities facing Renton are issues throughout our region.  Collaborating with regional governments, businesses, non-profits, schools and residents, we'll get results on housing affordability, public safety, homelessness, environment, traffic.
 

I will ensure first responders have resources needed, tax dollars are accounted for, champion business and good jobs, value our parks and trails, and improve transportation choices.  I'll put my decades of effective leadership in Renton's neighborhoods, businesses, schools and community organizations to work.  My experience with public policies and budgets, plus relationships built locally, regionally and statewide will benefit Renton.

Statement:

I have been on City Council since 2013, including a term as Council President. My family has been involved in Renton for four generations and my wife and I are invested in the community where we are raising our children. As a Renton business owner since 1985, I have created jobs and learned the importance of a thriving business community.
 

I have the endorsement of the Renton Police Officers’ Guild and I will prioritize public safety and crime reduction. I will work to build an inclusive city with opportunities for all, promote investment and job growth, find traffic solutions and improve the quality of life for our families.
