Occupation: Redmond Planning Commissioner; Healthcare Global Engagement Program Lead at Microsoft
Statement:

I am running for City Council to provide the bold leadership needed to build a more sustainable, inclusive, and thriving Redmond. I will push for progress on housing affordability, improving transportation, and protecting our environment.

As a working mom with experience in the public, private and non-profit sectors, I will bring innovative ideas and data-driven policies to address our city’s biggest challenges. I have worked on human rights and environmental policy in DC and was appointed by Governor Inslee to UW’s Board of Regents. Through work on smart city technology at Microsoft, I helped communities become greener, safer, and more accessible. I respectfully ask for your vote.

Endorsements: 45th and 48th LD Democrats; Washington Conservation Voters; Women’s Political Caucus; Congresswoman Suzan DelBene; Senators Patty Kuderer, Manka Dhingra; Representatives Vandana Slatter, Amy Walen, Roger Goodman; Redmond Mayor John Marchione; Councilmembers Angela Birney, Tanika Padhye; LWSD Board President Siri Bliesner; and more.

Statement:

I am a husband, a father of three, a tech industry professional, and a community volunteer.

I raise my family in Redmond, I plan to retire in Redmond, and my singular focus is to advocate for the citizens of Redmond. Whether you are concerned about housing affordability, traffic congestion, or preserving our neighborhoods, I will be your voice on City Council. I will be there for you and will fight for your interests, making growth work for all of us.

As our city continues to grow, Redmond needs leaders who listen, not aspiring politicians who seek to further their career. I am not going to drown you in platitudes and soundbites, my goal is to work with you to build a vision guiding our city forward. I am endorsed by my fellow Redmond residents, not by politicians or special interests. Your opinion matters. I'd be honored to receive your vote.
