Redmond’s growth and change must be welcoming and inclusive, enhancing our quality of life. On Council, I’ve led efforts to put all council meetings on live video, relocate our community center, increase tree canopy goals and protect open space, fund pool improvements, implement our Cultural Inclusion ordinance, and build more affordable housing.
As Mayor, I’ll continue working locally and regionally to protect our environment, promote small business, and create a more inclusive, affordable, and equitable community. Together, we can tackle the tough challenges ahead and create a Redmond where all can thrive. I respectfully ask for your vote.
Endorsed: Redmond Mayor Marchione; Councilmembers Padhye, Margeson, Carson; Redmond Firefighters Local 2829; Sierra Club; Alliance for Gun Responsibility; Planned Parenthood Votes; 45th LD Democrats; County Executive Constantine; County Councilmember Balducci; Senators Dhingra and Kuderer; Representatives Goodman, Slatter, Springer, and Walen; Mayors of Bellevue, Kirkland, Bothell, Mercer Island, Issaquah, Duvall; and many more!

Growth at the expense of livability is neither acceptable nor sustainable. It’s time for a new direction and leadership to change how we manage growth and prepare for a more affordable and green future.
On council, I ask tough questions for the people I serve. I have applied my 30 years of budgeting, business management, and government leadership skills to improve our fiscal decisions to prevent overspending on projects like the $42M downtown park. I led the formation of a sustainability audit to improve our environment and prepare for climate impacts.
I bring accountability in leading a high-performance government that plans based on community-driven priorities, takes bold actions, and measures results like any responsible business. I will start by cutting wasteful spending and catch up on long-overdue projects like parks and roads maintenance. Endorsed by King County/48th Democrats, Women of Color in Politics, Former Mayor Ives, State Senator Patty Kuderer.
