I’ve lived in and enjoyed our beautiful city for over 30 years.  I am honored to have served my community for most of those years on the Planning Commission, Friends of Third Place Commons Board, and City Council.

Lake Forest Park is a unique and special place, and I am committed keeping it that way by making sure we have a permanent, viable location for Third Place Commons and the Farmer’s Market; supporting development only if it is consistent with the character of our city and supported by the community; holding to our environmental values, particularly with regard to the tree canopy and salmon recovery; and ensuring that our children are safe and can thrive in our community.  We need to have safe routes to schools and parks that are accessible to everyone.

I have the sole endorsement of the 46th Democrats; Attorney General Bob Ferguson, State Senator David Frockt.

My vision for the future of Lake Forest Park is focused on preserving our neighborhoods, green spaces and quality of life, while addressing the challenges of growth, traffic, transit and affordable housing.

I raised a family here and have been a dedicated supporter of our local schools and neighborhoods. My professional career was spent in public service, conserving land and water for the future, and managing large budgets. I am a communicator, collaborator, and most importantly, I get things done.

I will advocate for traffic mitigation so we can move safely. And I will use the city’s financial resources wisely to provide essential services.
