Statement:

I was appointed to the Kirkland City Council in March and I am honored to represent you. As a 25-year Kirkland resident, I have served on the Kirkland Park Board, Housing Strategy Advisory Group, and the Houghton Community Council.

Kirkland is a beautiful city with fantastic parks, diverse amenities, and distinct, engaged neighborhoods. Our growing economy brings opportunities to define a vibrant and sustainable future for our city. My priorities include managing Kirkland’s growth and livability; improving inclusivity and accessibility; creating solutions for our affordable housing shortage; preserving Kirkland’s natural environment; and expanding parks and recreational programs.

I am endorsed by the Sierra Club, Washington National Women’s Political Caucus, King County/48th/45th/1st Democrats, WA State Representatives Slatter, Walen, Springer, Goodman, Kloba, McBride, King County Councilmember Dembowski, Kirkland leaders, board members, commissioners, community members, and more. With your vote, I will work hard to ensure that Kirkland is livable, sustainable, and accessible.
