Education: Bachelor of Science - General Studies
Occupation: HR Leader at the Boeing Company; Kent City Council President
Statement:

Kent City Council President Bill Boyce has been a champion for Kent taxpayers, families and our values. After serving our community for 16 years on the Kent School Board, Kent voters elected him to represent them at Kent City Hall. During his time on the city council he has added more police officers to our neighborhoods, created living wage jobs for our residents and balanced the budget without major tax increases on residents or businesses.

Bill has served our community as a US Army Airborne Ranger, a little league coach, a Rotarian, a Criminal Justice Training Commissioner, President of the Kent School Board and President of the Kent City Council.

“Serving this community has been the honor of a lifetime. I believe we have moved the City forward on a lot of issues but I believe there is still a lot of work to be done.” Please vote Bill Boyce!

Statement:

I am running to represent you at the Kent City Council because I want to give back to the community that has supported me and my family.

I will work to provide opportunities for everyone in Kent by improving our city’s Equal Employment initiatives, investing in affordable housing, infrastructure development, and increasing access to public transit. By improving conditions for small businesses and addressing the root causes of homelessness we will improve the quality of life for everyone who lives and works in Kent.

As a professional engineer, I spent 35 years managing large municipal projects ($20-$200 million each) and will use this experience to develop a responsible and sustainable budget for Kent. As your City Council member, I will work collaboratively with residents, businesses, law enforcement, and non-profits in order to tackle public safety and other tough issues facing Kent. I humbly ask for your vote.
