Statement:

One of my early memories is moving to Kenmore with my parents in 1956. Growing up here, I enjoyed the freedom to explore woodlands, pick wild berries, and observe the myriad of wildlife near my home. I attended Arrowhead Elementary, Kenmore Junior High, and Inglemoor High School, graduating in 1968. These experiences anchored my heart and identity to Kenmore.

Since incorporation, Kenmore has grown dramatically but still has small-town charm and a beautiful environment. My wife Laurie and I enjoy exploring city parks with our grandchildren and participating in community life.

I’m running for Kenmore City Council because we need rational and responsive leadership for the challenges facing our rapidly changing city. I’m passionate about preserving the environment for future generations while accommodating growth. As your councilmember, I’ll prioritize public safety, promote affordability, and preserve parks and open spaces. Let’s work together for a safe, strong, affordable Kenmore. Thank you.
