Statement:

My family chose Issaquah because of its welcoming atmosphere, respect for the natural environment, and charming downtown. I want other families to feel this is a true home for them too. My priority is protecting the qualities that make Issaquah special.

On council, I’ve heard our community’s strong desire to protect our environment; I championed acquisition of 46 forested acres on Cougar Mountain, which provides public benefit as transit-accessible open-space.  I’ve heard concern about lack of affordable housing; I’ve worked to make it easier to build accessory dwelling units, to increase affordability and housing options.

I’m a mom and a wife, and my day job is renewable energy research. I bring experience in ecology, land-use, and urban planning. I’m committed to partnering with you to address our city’s challenges. It has been an honor to serve on council and I look forward to the next four years.
