I am a third-generation citizen of Black Diamond and have raised four children in our community. I have enjoyed being your voice as your councilmember for the past eight years. I also serve as the City Executive in the Mayor's absence.
 

I believe that public safety is the most important function of City government. I am on the Finance and Public Safety committees, and, as a former firefighter, on the Fire Ad Hoc Committee. I am proud of the progress that we have made toward getting an additional fire station, procuring a new fire truck, and replacing aging police vehicles.

I will continue to represent our citizens in an open and transparent manner and work to maintain our community's environment and quality of life. As the city experiences rapid growth, I will ensure that developers and the City meet their responsibilities to protect the environment and provide needed infrastructure.
