As your Mayor, I have worked to make Algona a city that has a small town feel while providing larger city services. With my leadership we have raised millions of dollars, built a new civic center, paved significant portions of the roads, added park space and installed miles of sidewalk. We benefit from a sound wall built by the state without cost to Algona.

Algona will be receiving the current transfer station property and some major private development in the future. How that is managed makes a difference. I am asking for your vote to allow me to manage that process. I do not have all the answers, but together we will work to determine how to keep the small town feel while experiencing growth.

I will balance the financial benefits of growth with the need for the small town feel.
