I want to take this opportunity to thank the voters of King County for selecting me to serve on the District Court Bench. Although I do not have an opponent in this election, I believe it is necessary for the voters to hear from their elected officials. I am a graduate of the University of Washington, 1979, and was awarded my law degree from Willamette University College of Law in 1982. My wife and I are life-long residents of King County. I was in private practice for two decades in Federal Way until elected to the District Court in 2002. I strive to treat each person who appears in court with fairness and respect.
