2017 general election
Ronald Wastewater District
Commissioner Position 5
Paul Barrera
17713 15th AVE NE Suite 105
Shoreline, WA 98155
Paul Barrera is your choice to bring good judgment, transparency, and independence to the Ronald Wastewater District.
Paul will bring good judgment. Paul is a business and tax lawyer who regularly helps the community minimize legal spend and maximize the best outcome. As Commissioner, Paul will bring that good judgment to Ronald Wastewater.
Paul will bring transparency. In the last year, the Commissioners have scheduled meetings during the day, when many of our commuter ratepayers are unable to attend. As Commissioner, Paul will advocate to hold meetings in the evenings to ensure transparency.
Paul will bring independence. As an independent utilities district, Ronald Wastewater deserves vigorous representation in serving its own needs alongside those of neighboring communities. As Commissioner, Paul will strive to represent the unique needs of Ronald Wastewater as a distinct entity.

Vote Paul for Commissioner No. 5, Ronald Wastewater District.
I have lived in Shoreline for more than 37 years and have witnessed the area change and grow. I have had the privilege of participating in many groups in our community and understand the importance of citizen input, oversight and guidance as part of that process. I want to thank the board for their trust in appointing me to fill the vacancy on the board. I now need your vote to continue to serve my friends and neighbors and to work diligently on your behalf as we negotiate the transition currently under way. My priorities are to keep rates low and ensure transparency and accountability in the process while maintaining service levels. Thank you for your vote November 7.
Endorsements include: Shoreline Mayor Chris Roberts, Shoreline Deputy Mayor Shari Winstead, Shoreline Councilmember Doris McConnell, RWD Commissioner George Webster, Craig Degginger, Lisa Surowiec
