I will work with you to preserve Houghton’s current assets, including those aspects of its natural and built environment that make it a unique community in an already unique city – vibrant, attractive, and livable. I will help us plan for future growth and economic enhancement that recognizes the value of a healthy balance between Houghton’s residential neighborhoods, boutique retail and other small businesses, light industry, global enterprises, and educational institutions – those within Houghton’s boundaries and those that we enjoy nearby. I will prioritize multi-modal transportation solutions that provide us and our neighbors with options for getting around more safely and efficiently and preserve Houghton’s unique quality of being close to everything. And, I will always advocate for an inclusive community that provides a diverse and meaningful range of housing solutions, welcomes everyone, and serves everyone equitably. My wife and I have been proud residents of Houghton since 2003.
