I place tremendous importance on the wonderful neighborhood we live in and feel we are fortunate to have the zoning oversight provided by the Houghton Community Council.

I’ve lived in Kirkland for 25 years, where I have raised our two children (now college students) and run a small business. I’ve been actively involved in community and school volunteering, am a member of the Kirkland Park Board, and serve on the Houghton Community Council. My job is to listen to my neighbors, work to protect the qualities you want for our community, and to be the residents’ voice to the Kirkland Planning Department and City Council.

Our city is on the cusp of incredible growth and we need to meet that growth in a thoughtful, proactive way. Your Houghton Community Council insures that your voice is heard. I hope you’ll allow me to continue to make a contribution to our community.
