It's been an honor to serve as your Water District Commissioner these past two years.  I have learned a great deal about our district operations and what matters to our customers.  While I've been a resident of Des Moines for 10 years in the North Hill neighborhood, this was the first time I've been involved as an elected official.

In the area of health and safety, we worked closely with the Health Department to discontinue chlorination and installed 19 new testing stations just in the last two years.  We continued our unidirectional flushing program to combat sediment build up.  In the coming years, we will need to continue to invest in infrastructure and capital projects.

We have made good strides in the past two years and I ask that you let me continue the work of providing low cost and high quality water service to our community.
