Joe Pylant was appointed in August, 2016 to fill a vacancy.  Commissioner Pylant retired from his position as Sr. Vice President of Rocket Research/Olin Aerospace after 31 years of service. Joe has lived in Redmond for 36 years and is married to Vicky. They remain focused on the lives of their six grown children and eleven grandchildren. Joe loves to play golf and also volunteers in the nursery of his community church. Joe is proud to be associated with the firefighters of KCFD 34 and looks forward to another 6 years of service.
