I retired from the Fire Ditrict as Fire Chief and I wanted to continue serving the  community.  I then became a Fire Commissioner.

My goal is to continue the excellence we have presently. I ask for your vote to be re-elected .  I have lived in this community since 1965 when I returned from Vietnam.

I have over four decades of combined public service to our country and community. My service started in combat in Vietnam--first as combat engineer, then in my second tour on a Medevac helicopter as a door gunner. I worked as a Reserve Officer with King County Sheriff for 11 years. Lastly, I have been a Firefighter for the last 41 years—firefighting and managing incidents is my central professional calling.

 I have been married for 44 years, raised two children in this community and am an active member of my church.

Through these decades of service, I have developed excellent leadership skills. My vision for the Fire District is that it operates within its financial constraints while providing outstanding service to the community. With 41 active years as a firefighter in a wide range of roles, my level of expertise and experience in this field makes me exceptionally well-qualified.
