Statement:

As a mom with a young student in the District, I am committed to continuing the successes of all our students. I actively volunteer in my son’s classroom and the PTSA.

 

I am a teacher who collaborates with high school teachers on curriculum development, and was an education policy analyst and advocate.

 

I will serve as a strong voice for our children and our community values, engage in deliberative decision-making, build partnerships with families, teachers, and community organizations, and commit to effectively use your tax dollars. I will cultivate an environment where each student is capable of learning and succeeding.

 

I served on Shoreline’s Economic Development Advisory Committee and participated in the District’s visioning process. I would appreciate your vote.

Statement:

I am a committed education advocate, proven leader and dedicated parent. Married to a Shorecrest graduate and raising two children in our schools, I have 13 years’ experience bringing parents, teachers, administrators and community members together to ensure all our children have the best access to learning. As a leader of the Shoreline Public Schools Foundation and various PTAs, I saw first-hand the importance of strong community engagement. If elected, I will continue building partnerships and ensure strong financial stewardship as we implement new state laws and build new schools. I am a long-time Lake Forest Park resident and proud to have received the sole endorsement of retiring School Board President Debi Ehrlichman.
