Statement:

I am honored to serve you.  I bring experience and leadership to address the important issues facing our community.  I ask for your vote.

I moved here 19 years ago.  I fell in love with the charm, the beauty and warmth of citizens.  I do not view myself as a politician – I serve for love of Snoqualmie and community service. My guiding principals center on what is right for our community – our entire community and not just my small corner of it.

I believe that we need to preserve our natural beauty while maintaining our small town culture.  I believe that we need to diversify our tax base away from reliance on property taxes - strengthening retail and tourism to do so.  I believe in moderate development that is done smartly and with purpose.  I am fiscally conservative.

Please visit my website for information on specific issues.

Statement:

12+ years on council, my opponent works with commercial real estate voting to pass or considering over 611 acres of dense development in Snoqualmie without studies of traffic beyond two blocks of development; one development proposal will be as dense as Issaquah Highlands.

She respects developers over residents in meetings; sometimes residents are not allowed to speak or limited to 90 seconds on issues like losing their home due to annexation while developers are given hours.

My husband and I have lived in Snoqualmie for over ten years and have four grandchildren in the Snoqualmie Valley school district.

I founded Snoqualmie1st to put residents first; attending, recording and publishing public meetings because the city didn’t; researching, speaking, and reaching out to residents about their rights. I have no ties to developers.

Residents should be treated as VIPs and I will continue to work hard to make that happen.
