Statement:

If elected, I will work for you. I graduated from Mount Si in 1982, have lived in Snoqualmie for 30 years, been a public servant for decades, and am a single father of teenage daughters. I spent two terms on our City Council and Planning Commission during the planning/approval of Snoqualmie Ridge. This experience showed me how important citizen involvement is and gave me the expertise that will allow me to be your voice in upcoming decision making. Priority wise, my beliefs are to maintain excellent public safety, fiscal responsibility with your tax dollars, and increase employment while making it easier for small businesses to locate here.  I believe we can do this while maintaining our rural character. I’ve been lucky enough to witness and play a role in the growth of Snoqualmie into the thriving community it is today. I would love the opportunity to represent you again.

Statement:

As your City Councilmember, I will be your voice in the process, ensuring that every decision is in the best interest of our citizens. I believe in our shared civic values and our community’s potential. As Vice-Chair of the Planning Commission, I recognize the challenging decisions facing our local government.

My vision for Snoqualmie includes finding balanced revenue sources that are not solely reliant on additional growth. I will be a champion for managing future growth responsibly, fostering open community participation and engagement, ensuring the safety of our neighborhoods, protecting the unique character of Historic Snoqualmie, and reducing taxes and fees – but not by sacrificing essential community services.

We are at a critical juncture for Snoqualmie’s future. If elected, I will be an advocate of our citizens’ interests and the strong, independent leader that Snoqualmie needs. I would appreciate your vote for this open seat.
