Statement:

Tanika brings a fresh perspective and a new voice to the council. She wants Redmond to be a vibrant community, where we can all live, work, play and worship.

Tanika is already working hard for you, but there’s more to accomplish.  Redmond is growing, which brings challenges and opportunities.  She will continue to support affordable housing options, find ways to ease traffic congestion, and revitalize our aging community centers.  It takes patience, experience and a willingness to talk to all stakeholders to achieve results.

Tanika has lived and raised her family in Redmond for 13 years, and values community engagement. As your councilwoman, she will continue to encourage your involvement in the decision-making process.

Please vote for Tanika so that we can preserve Redmond’s hometown charm, natural beauty, and prepare for the future.

Endorsed by Senator Kuderer, Representatives McBride, Slatter and Goodman, fellow council members,  Eastside Democrats, and many others.

Statement:

Like you, I love where I live and have been actively involved in our community. I am a husband, father of two, and longtime Redmond resident.

As our city changes, we all want to retain our great quality of life for young and old. This will be my focus and I will remain accountable to you, not to special interests.

I will engage with the community and developers to direct Redmond’s growth according to the residents’ priorities.

I will ensure that the traffic is flowing – in Downtown, and in all our neighborhoods.

Our budget should provide for parks and community centers for us and our children, and I believe we can achieve that without levies and extra taxes.

I treasure our diverse and welcoming city and as a non-partisan candidate, I represent all Redmond residents.

I look forward to serving you and being your voice on Redmond City Council!
