2017 general election
City of North Bend
Council Position 2
It has been an honor and privilege to serve as your Councilman. Growth is one of our most challenging issues. I will continue to ensure that we maintain our small-town character while making sure that developers pay for their impacts on our infrastructure.
My number one priority has always been public safety, My dedication to this priority has led me to serve for seven years on the Board of Eastside Fire and Rescue, and to be elected as its Chair for the last 2 ½ years.
I take pride in keeping property taxes low while respecting your trust in the city to manage your tax dollars efficiently. I’ll continue to work hard to see your investment is spent wisely and transparently. I will listen and collaborate with the citizens of our great town, and I respectfully ask for your vote this November.
The City of North Bend and the whole Snoqualmie Valley has grown rapidly in the recent decades, bringing many, including myself, to develop as a part of this great community.
As a member of the North Bend City Council, I vow to do what is necessary to balance the growth of the town with the economic potential that growth could bring.
Major growth is happening throughout the whole Eastside, which brings both hopes and fears; hopes of a more prosperous future, fears of a small town losing its identity.
In order to maintain the nature of our community, care must be taken to the development of new lands, while also allowing for the town to grow economically and culturally.
Soon, I hope to have your vote in this election to help create a future for North Bend that balances the needs of the residents and the heritage of our community.
