My message is simple. We are a small city seeking to remain fiscally strong to control our own destiny. I’m your voice for the long-term view that believes we can manage growth and attract desired businesses to our downtown core, while providing for public safety and infrastructure to support the well-being of our community.

As current Planning Commission Chair and your volunteer Commissioner for the past seven years, I’ve worked diligently to deliver solid recommendations to City Council. Now is the right time for me to join the Council and serve you with proactive thinking and sound decision making.

My engineering background and years of senior business management have prepared me to focus on challenging financial and policy issues. My international business experience (eight years in Mexico) reinforces my ability to engage others with respect and an open mind seeking common ground.
