Education: I hold degrees in Political Science and Law
Occupation: Controller, Ford & Hyundai of Kirkland
Statement:

Our region is experiencing unprecedented growth in good jobs, and the families are following, wanting to share in our incredible quality of life.

The challenge is to preserve the unique qualities of our neighborhoods and our small town feel, while allowing for development of homes and jobs downtown and in Totem Lake, and to have our business districts allow us to buy everything we need, here in our city.

Public safety is the primary responsibility of government and we should ensure that our first responders have everything they need to keep us safe. We must remain a welcoming city where every person feels secure.

Conservative fiscal policies have enabled us to establish savings accounts for future needs, and in a good position to invest in walking and biking trails, sidewalks, open spaces and parks.

It has been a privilege to serve, and I would be honored to earn your vote.

Education: University of Washington Bachelors of Science: Astronomy, Biochemistry, Chemistry, and Physics
Occupation: President, Co-Founder, and Head Coach, Suplex City Wrestling
Statement:

My Kirkland work ethic proved to be critical in overcoming obstacles presented by my learning disabilities while earning four majors at the University of Washington, stocking retail shelves at night while coaching by day, and establishing a small business.  From these experiences, I learned to resolve conflicts with honesty, integrity and perseverance while understanding most disputes are rooted from frustration and miscommunication rather than malicious intent.  My leadership experience taught me to not to base decisions to be re-elected, but rather by listening to those I serve.  I hope to bring these values to public service.

As your Kirkland City Council Member, I will prioritize supporting our brave police officers and firefighters, defending property owner rights, and emboldening youth.  I also seek to update Kirkland’s water mains and transition the replacement for the Houghton Transfer Station.

As a citizen born and raised in Kirkland, I humbly ask for your vote.
