Statement:

Thoughtful and caring citizens have created the vibrant and attractive Kirkland we live in today. This attractiveness brings an ongoing challenge - growth. Growth lies at the core of many of our issues: congestion, affordability, environmental sustainability, public health, livability, security and fiscal balance. I look forward to addressing each of these.

Recently served 8 years as Kirkland Transportation Commissioner - two as Chairman. Currently serve on the Kirkland Parks Foundation and Tilth Alliance boards.

I’m proud to be endorsed by Washington Conservation Voters, Sierra Club, Representative Joan McBride, former mayors Dave Russell, Mary-Alice Burleigh, Bill Woods, Bob Neir, former councilmember Nona Ganz, former city manager Dave Ramsay, Councilman Toby Nixon, former parks directors Lynn Stokesbary and Jennifer Schroder, Finn Hill President Scott Morris, and many others.

I would appreciate your vote.
