I’m honored to serve you and our welcoming, inclusive city. At gatherings like For the Love of Kirkland, neighborhood meetings, and community events, your involvement makes Kirkland better. During the last four years, I’ve listened, brought people together, and found creative solutions.
Mary Beth and I are raising three daughters who attend Lake Washington schools. To maintain what we love about Kirkland, I’ve worked to add new parks, strengthen neighborhoods, focus density in Totem Lake, and build the Cross Kirkland Corridor. I’ve championed climate and sustainability issues.
Kirkland is gaining more places to work, play, and meet our daily needs without leaving the city. If re-elected, I will pursue speeding up planned transportation projects, adding police and firefighters, and making housing more affordable.
I ask for your vote. Together we can keep Kirkland moving forward!
Endorsements: Washington Conservation Voters, Washington Bikes, state legislators, former Kirkland mayors, councilmembers, and neighborhood leaders.
A Fresh Eye, A New Voice for Our Community …
Kirkland citizens need a representative who will listen to their concerns and visions for the city. I will be your voice on the city council. A resident of Kirkland for over 40 years, working in and for the community is important to me. I am active in my neighborhood association, a current reelected board member and a contributor to the neighborhood comprehensive plans.
Having persevered through city issues as a private citizen, I am committed to open, transparent government and restoring integrity in our city officials. An ideal quality of life should be expected by all where citizens are respected, neighborhood character is preserved, and businesses succeed. I believe common sense and fiscal responsibility are also imperative for a healthy community.
It would be an honor to be your fair and just representative on Kirkland’s city council … Let’s talk!
