Issaquah is at a critical crossroad and the decisions that we make today will have a profound impact on our future and our quality of life. We must address our worsening traffic problems and find a sensible approach to development. I have lived in this community for more than 25 years, and I am committed to preserving the qualities that make Issaquah a great place to live. It is time for a City Council that will advocate for the citizens of Issaquah and has the vision, skills, and experience to solve the hard problems we face today and will in the future. As a business owner and management consultant, I have worked with governments across the country to help them tackle their most challenging problems. I'd be honored to be your representative on the City Council so I can give back to this community that has given me so much.
Like you, I want a City Council that listens and works hard to make Issaquah a better place, without losing what brought us all here in the process.
Many of you know me well from my activity in local government since 2003. Issaquah was my choice for raising my family 17 years ago because of the great schools, quality of life, and beautiful natural surroundings.
As a former CPA, I will be fiscally responsible and hold the city accountable to you, the taxpayer.
More importantly, we should all feel safe in our neighborhoods not worrying about speeding cars, cut through traffic, or crime. Future growth must be in the right place and pay its own way. It must respect the environment plus provide appropriate infrastructure and parks.
As your City Councilor, I will emphasize community and your needs. Together we can improve our lives and preserve the best of Issaquah!
