City of Burien
Council Position 3

It has been an honor to serve you. My goals are: A safe city to live in, enforcement of existing laws to protect Burien citizens, extended youth programs, a robust city with quality economic development, a healthy environment, protection from further airport encroachment and a sustainable community with a small-town flavor that supports Burien families and businesses.
I have voted to maintain reserves with conservative spending to offset serious budget challenges Burien faces in two years. I stand against all tax increases and for open, honest, responsive government.
My family has lived in Burien for 20 years. Our children graduated from Highline Schools. I volunteer with local non-profits to aid the homeless/poor, participate in a Block Watch group, play in a community orchestra and am a member of Quiet Skies Coalition.
Beware of candidates funded with big outside the city money who want control of Burien.
Thanks for your vote!
I would like your vote so I can bring Burien values back to the council. These values include listening to the voices of our community and embracing good governance rather than politics of division. We need council-members with more respectful attitudes.
I’ve been a Burien resident for nearly 20 years and know that we are stronger as a city when we work together. I am a small business owner and know that the city can cultivate public-private programs to help growing businesses.
We need to develop community-centric solutions and support programs that encourage the public to work with our local police and judicial system and vice-versa. I will make sure we are working to keep housing affordable in Burien and that we are bringing in the jobs that will allow people to continue to live here.
Endorsements: 34th District Democrats, King County Labor Council, and County Council-member Dave Upthegrove.
